Jyväskylä´s historical fencing society (JHMS, Jyväskylän historiallisen miekkailun seura), founded by the students of Jyväskylä branch of SESH is meant to progress and develop historical European martial arts with a focus on historical fencing, and to make them more known.

The Jyväskylä branch of SESH started in the spring of 2006 and has had beginner´s courses a couple of times afterwards. In 2007 JHMS was founded.

Jukka ja Daavid

Classes are led by branch leader Jukka Salmi and Daavid Väänänen. Society members have the opportunity to take part in courses arranged by SESH in other parts of the country. Additionally, Guy Windsor frequently visits.
